Together, we have been reducing the number of single-use plastic and paper bags distributed at supermarkets, convenience, liquor and drug stores across Alameda County since 2013. Thank you!

Now under consideration is an expansion of this law to cover additional retail stores, potentially including all retail stores and restaurants in Alameda County.

We will be hosting a series of meetings throughout the county to solicit your input on expansion ideas and the reusable bag requirements.

This event is open to all Alameda County retailers.
