Companies that are committed to sustainable business practices should be recognized for doing good things in their community. Information should be available so that industry, investors and consumers can be aware of companies that are taking steps to reduce their environmental impact and improve their social equity, while being economically productive.

In response to this need, StopWaste is working with other partners to create a Sustainable Business Rating System (SBRS). The SBRS will apply to a wide range of business types and sizes and will allow them to be rated in a simple yet comprehensive way that will help drive the marketplace for sustainable business.
