Please note that priority is given to professional landscapers with clients in Alameda County.

If you would like to be added to our mailing list to be notified about future professional landscape maintenance trainings, please send an email with your address and phone number to Adrienne Ramirez at aramirez@stopwaste.org.

FEES
The course fee will be $100 for Bay-Friendly Coalition members, $125 for nonmembers. (To become a Coalition member, click here.)  Scholarships are available for public agency staff from StopWaste.Org’s member agencies. Contact Teresa Eade (teade@stopwaste.org) if you work for a city in Alameda County or the county itself and would like to apply for a scholarship to the training.

Requirements for participation:

  1. Clients in Alameda County AND
  2. EITHER: 1 year full time experience in the landscape industry
    OR: 2 year curriculum in landscape horticulture

Requirements for qualification:

  1. Attend all classes, totaling 24 hours, and
  2. Pass a written exam

Who Should Attend the Traninig?

Public and private sector landscape professionals who manage:

  • Municipal landscapes
  • Schools, parks & recreational facilities
  • Commercial landscapes
  • Residential landscapes & gardens
  • Construction of public & private landscapes

Training and qualification is for individuals, not companies.
