FEES
The course fee will be $100 for Bay-Friendly Coalition members, $125 for nonmembers. (To become a Coalition member, click here.) Scholarships are available for public agency staff from StopWaste.Org’s member agencies. Contact Teresa Eade (teade@stopwaste.org) if you work for a city in Alameda County or the county itself and would like to apply for a scholarship to the training.
Requirements for participation:
- Clients in Alameda County AND
- EITHER: 1 year full time experience in the landscape industry
OR: 2 year curriculum in landscape horticulture
Requirements for qualification:
- Attend all classes, totaling 24 hours, and
- Pass a written exam

- Schools, parks & recreational facilities
- Commercial landscapes
- Residential landscapes & gardens
- Construction of public & private landscapes
Training and qualification is for individuals, not companies.
