Construction & Demolition Debris
Construction and Demolition (C&D) materials still occupy a large percentage of our landfill space. Building activities have been cited as one reason why landfill volumes have been increasing, despite expanding recycling efforts by local jurisdictions. In Alameda County alone, more than 355,000 tons of construction and demolition materials are unnecessarily disposed of at landfills annually. We have developed the following resources to assist in the diversion of C&D materials:
