Reducing Disposable Food Ware
Whether you are a caterer, a mobile food vendor, or run a restaurant, café or institutional kitchen, minimizing the use of disposable food ware products can help you:
- Reduce disposable food service ware costs

- Prevent litter near your business
- Keep local waterways clean
- Be a greener business
- Lower waste collection service costs
ReThink Disposable is a free program that helps businesses and schools transition to reusable food ware and introduce practices that prevent waste. Many Alameda County businesses have switched to reusable food service ware. Watch their success stories.
In addition to hands-on support by ReThink Disposable staff, StopWaste is offering up to $500 in rebates toward the purchase of reusable food service ware.
ReThink Disposable is a Clean Water Fund program conducted in partnership with local businesses and local government agencies. Generous support for the program is provided by a changing list of public and private funders. To learn more about the program, its partners, and funders, visit: www.rethinkdisposable.org.
