Pleasanton Unified School District

Each school district in Alameda County contracts for their own garbage and recycling collection service and provides their own classroom recycling bin. StopWaste's irecycle@school program provides the educational program support and indoor classroom signage material to support student's understanding and practice of the 4Rs.

The following items are collected in the district (click here to download indoor recycling signage): 

  • Aluminum collected by PTAs
  • Plastic #1-2 collected by PTAs
  • Paper collected by the Paper Gobbler program of PGS
  • Cardboard
  • Food scraps
