The Alameda County Household Hazardous Waste Program is hosting a free collection event in Albany on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
We're sorry to let you know that the event is already full, and we're no longer accepting registrations. However, there are other options available for you to dispose of your hazardous household waste. The Livermore, Oakland, and Hayward HHW Facilities are open on a weekly basis, providing a convenient and safe way to handle your hazardous materials. To find out more about these facilities and their operating hours, you can click here.
For more information about future events, you can periodically check in on the One-Day Drop-off Events page, or if you want to be notified about future events, you can sign up for StopWaste's At Home e-newsletter. By subscribing, you'll receive the latest program updates, resources, and information about upcoming events.
Prepare For Your Appointment

- Stay in your vehicle. Our professional crew will unload and handle all the toxic materials, making it quick and easy for you. It's also state law.
