StopWaste is offering grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 to businesses, nonprofits, institutions, and school districts in Alameda County to fund waste prevention equipment. The deadline to apply is February 24, 2025.

A partnership between StopWaste and Arup is now offering free technical assistance and cash stipends to support low-embodied carbon strategies in construction and renovation projects. Eligible projects include municipal and multifamily projects (new construction, major rehabilitation, and interior renovation) located in Alameda County, California.

The Alameda County Source Reduction and Recycling Board has a vacancy in the category of “A representative of an organization engaged primarily in operating recycling programs within Alameda County.” The appointee must live in Alameda County. Term of the appointment is two years, and board members are eligible for re-appointment to one additional two-year term.

StopWaste is offering a total of $1.1 million in grant funding to businesses, nonprofits, institutions, and school districts in Alameda County for projects focused on focus on waste prevention, reuse, and recovery of food, goods and materials as well as development, marketing, and products made with recovered materials.
