Alameda County residents can drop off household hazardous waste at any of four facilities for free — no appointment needed. Batteries, paint, electronics, chemicals, motor oil, and more are accepted. The service is fast and easy: drive up, pop your trunk, and our staff handles the rest. Separate services also available for businesses and residential landlords.
