The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to identify well qualified organizations, firms and/or individuals to work with Agency staff to deliver technical assistance services to numerous businesses, institutions, community organizations, food recovery organizations, and/or multi-family properties in Alameda County for waste reduction assistance.
StopWaste is requesting proposals from qualified firms of Certified Public accountants to audit the Agency’s financial statements for three fiscal years, beginning with the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023.
This Request for Proposals is being issued by StopWaste to identify qualified consultants to perform and produce a Waste Characterization Study for Alameda County with an anticipated contract start date in Fall 2022, with sampling beginning Spring 2023.
StopWaste is requesting proposals from janitorial companies that employ environmentally preferable “green” practices and use environmentally preferable products as part of their janitorial service. These products include those that minimize environmental impacts, toxics, pollution, and hazards to workers, and products that include recycled content, are durable and long-lasting, conserve energy and water, use agricultural fibers and residues, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, use unbleached or chlorine free manufacturing processes, and use wood from sustainably harvested forests.
