For Businesses

Alameda County offers hazardous waste disposal services for qualifying small businesses, including an appointment-based program for Very Small Quantity Generators and an express drop-in service for common materials like paint, batteries, and fluorescent lamps.

For Residential Landlords

Residential landlords are classified as businesses under hazardous waste law and cannot use the regular residential service. A separate free program is available with an EPA ID and scheduled appointment.
