During the meeting the chair will explain the process for members of the public to be recognized to offer public comment. The process will be described on the StopWaste website at http://www.stopwaste.org/virtual-meetings no later than noon, Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
The public may also comment by sending an e-mail to publiccomment@stopwaste.org. Written public comment will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on the day prior to the scheduled meeting. Copies of all written comments submitted by the deadline above will be provided to each Board Member and will be added to the official record. Comments will not be read into the record.

      Consider need for immediate action and, if approved, consider approval of Resolution to Submit Application for Grant Funding to CalRecycle for Solar Panel Recycling and Reuse Project in Alameda County

      That the WMA Board add consideration of this resolution to submit grant application to the agenda for the September 25, 2024 meeting.
       
      That the WMA Board adopt the attached Resolution authorizing the Executive Director to submit the application to CalRecycle’s Household Hazardous Waste Grant Program Cycle 43, Fiscal Year 2024–25, Small Projects for $100,000 to develop and implement a solar panel recycling and reuse pilot in Alameda County.
